Obituary of Jimmy Franklin Page

Jimmy Page, surrounded by his family, went to be with the Lord on February 18, 2023. He was 84 years old.

He was born on April 11, 1938 at home in Mayfield, Kentucky, where he continued to live until he graduated from Mayfield High School where he had many stories he shared with his children and grandchildren. Right after high school he and his parents moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where he attended a trade school and studied electronics and also went to Phoenix College, earning a two-year associates degree. Jimmy shared many great and funny stories and hijinks from his time in the National Guard.

He met his wife and love of his life, Deanna, in 1958 and they married in 1960. Together they had three children, and he was Papaw to nine grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

After a successful career working for some of the largest companies in America, including Honeywell, GE and American Express, Jimmy retired in 1994 from Rockwell Collins, where he worked in the aviation Division on the Triple 7 for Boeing.

A man of so many talents, he could fix anything! He loved all the latest technology and was a whiz on the computer. He enjoyed woodworking, studying the Bible, teaching on the Scriptures, along with learning about the cultures of the Bible. He was able to go on an archaeology trip to Israel in 2002 with his close friend Chuck Scott. Jim was an active member at Desert Mountain Bible fellowship.

Jimmy’s greatest strength was his ability to understand people’s struggles. He had an incredible impact on countless lives and would look at people as human beings who had worth and his love for people spanned his family, friends, coworkers, and people he met every day.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Deanna Page, his children; Tami Serbousek and husband Jerry Serbousek, Jaime Dekkers and husband Jon Dekkers. He is proceeded in death by his son, Jimmy Page Jr. and his parents; James and Reba Page.

A memorial service will be held on April 15 at Solera Clubhouse. Chandler, Arizona at 10 AM. A lunch reception will be held after the service.
