Obituary of Cheryl Ann Easton

Cheryl Ann (Hardy) Easton passed peacefully through the veil of life on November 8, 2023 at home with her husband of 60 years, Robert Earl Easton, by her side. She was born on June 19, 1944 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Fawn Lowe and Charles Alfred Hardy. Cheryl is the mother of 5 children: Curtis Earl (Laura Ruell), Stephanie Ann, Matthew Charles (Stephanie Casper), Elizabeth Ellen, and Kathryn Lynnette; grandmother to Brittney (Olsen), Ashley (Keillor Behrmann), Samantha (Zachary Halisky), Alison, Jordan, and Joshua Easton. She is also the great-grandmother of Easton, Greyson, and Kadon Behrmann.

 

She grew up in southern California, and graduated from high school in Bloomington, California in 1962. She met her future husband at a church outing of young adults while ice skating at Blue Jay in the San Bernardino Mountains in southern California.  After dating for a year they were married for time and eternity in the Los Angeles Temple on May 18, 1963.

 

Cheryl was a life long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and faithfully served in many callings, including president of her ward Relief Society and Young Women organizations. In 2007, she and Robert served a proselyting mission to Wisconsin.

 

Cheryl dedicated her life to being a loving and wise wife, mother and grandmother. Her legacy will live on through her beautiful posterity.
